About
Hi, I'm Aderayo Olamide Adelanwa — a philosopher, researcher, writer, and backend engineer.
Across my work, I am particularly interested in the intersection of human judgment, technology, ethics, decision-making, and the systems we build to support human action.
As a philosopher, I engage with questions around human agency, judgment, ethics, and the ways philosophical thinking can contribute to practical and contemporary problems.
As a backend engineer, I am developing my expertise in backend software engineering and data-intensive systems, working with Python, APIs, relational databases, and AI-enabled applications while continuing to deepen my understanding of database systems, software architecture, and distributed systems.
My research interests increasingly bring these areas together, particularly questions around decision-making, intelligent systems, human judgment, ethics, and the ways technology shapes how we understand, decide, and act. I am also interested in exploring decision intelligence as this work develops.
About aderayodevnotes
aderayodevnotes is where I document what I am learning, building, researching, and thinking about as a backend engineer with a background in philosophy..
I write across areas including:
- backend engineering
- Python and APIs
- databases and data-intensive systems
- software architecture
- distributed systems
- AI-enabled applications
- philosophy of technology
- technology and ethics
- decision intelligence
I am interested not only in how technological systems work, but also in the assumptions, decisions, values, and forms of human action surrounding the systems we create.
Think deeply. Live well. Make better decisions. Build with intentionality.
